Simulator Rental Rates
The FlyQuest DCX MAX Simulator is available for rental by the hour. The rate does not include an instructor (CFI/CFII). We recommend that you bring your own if you want to log the time. If you need help locating one, please let us know and we'll be glad to refer you.

The FlyQuest DCX MAX Simulator is available by appointment only. Our volunteers love flying and understand that it's necessary to schedule after work hours or at the last minute (in cases where real-world weather would otherwise cancel a training flight), so it operates on a "by appointment only" basis.

Pilot and aviation enthusiast Mike Murdock became an early supporter of FlyQuest when the organization was founded in 2013 and made significant contributions to enable us to fully customize our FlyQuest DCX MAX simulator. In turn, we christened the DC MAX simulator “Miss Norma”, after Mr. Murdock’s mother, Norma Mary Hay Murdock (1924-2005). Despite entering the New York foster system at the age of five with four siblings, she persevered, volunteering in church, organizing bake sales and driving school buses to help her husband, William Murdock, support their own five children. No job was too arduous or unpleasant and her “can do” attitude is a striking example for FlyQuest students to reach high to realize their own dreams.
